A proprietary blend of herbs and pre & probiotics that soothe and replenish the lining of the bowel, fight yeast and combat unhealthy bacteria. With 15-30 billion cfu of a 14 strain wide-spectrum probiotic blend and complimentary herbs.
Targets inflammation in the GI tract, respiratory system, urinary tract. FELINE GUT SOOTHE (fussy dogs/cats 46 g)
Specially formulated for fussy cats (or dogs) by removing aloe from the original formula and adding all natural beef liver flavour for added palatability. Contains a 15 billion cfu probiotic blend.
What is the difference between Gut Soothe and Healthy Gut?
Both products have the same base - the pre and probiotic blend that makes up Love Bugs.
Gut Soothe has added herbal components that target inflammation and can soothe the mucosal lining, providing relief for loose stools.
Healthy Gut has added digestive enzymes that help rebalance and cultivate proper growing conditions for friendly digestive flora destroyed by antibiotics and toxins. Aids in the digestion of food and supports a healthy immune system.
NOTE cats may not like the taste of Gut Soothe because it contains aloe vera, you may want to consider Love Bugs or Healthy Gut for cats instead.

What other conditions are this good for?
Anything that involves the mucosal lining, Gut Soothe is terrific for bladder health and respiratory (lung) health as well!
Do I have to use the entire container or do I stop using once symptoms disappear?
When you are trying to address acute health issues, it is good to treat for a minimum of 6 weeks as herbalists believe that this is how long it takes the body to process a healing response.
With many chronic diseases (issues that have been previously addressed with heavy medication or your pet has had for over 1 year), you may choose to rotate Gut Soothe with Love Bugs or Healthy Gut. Many customers on this rotation are happy with the results.
If my pet is allergic to shellfish, will N-Acetyl Glucosamine be a problem?
If your pet is allergic to shellfish, it is best to stay away from products with this ingredient. Kindly note that shellfish allergy is not the same as a fish allergy.
Do I stop using other probiotics?
It is not necessary to be on additional probiotics but if you are currently giving one, it doesn't hurt to finish or slowly wean off rather than just stopping something abruptly. One thing to note is that the probiotic blend in Gut Soothe is quite powerful, offering 30 Billion CFUs (colony forming units) per serving for a medium sized dog. Too much probiotics can cause loose stool, so if you are currently giving one, be mindful of that!
Will this interact with any medications?
Gut Soothe contains N-Acetyl Glucosamine which should not be given to pets that are on anticoagulant drugs. It is always advisable to check with your veterinarian if your pet is being treated for an existing condition or if they are on medications of any kind.
Does this need to be refrigerated after opening?
The product is freeze dried, so while refrigeration is not necessary, we believe it will help to maintain optimal freshness.
